About The Farm

We are a small family run farm with an emphasis on family. My father is 3rd generation farmer here but one of a very long line in his family going back hundreds of years. He moved here in 1957 as a boy with my Grandparents & Great Grandfather when they bought the farm. When he left school, he carried on farming with his father and has been here ever since. We have 70 acres at Grange Farm where we farm predominantly Beef Cattle. We also have Pigs and Sheep amongst many other pet animals including Goats, Chickens, Dogs, Cat and Aviary Birds! Growing up we had a very small farm shop of sorts in an old ‘outhouse’ attached to the farmhouse, so I grew up serving customers! After I graduated, we built the shop as it is now, and it has gone from strength to strength.

My husband joined me here working in 2014, he is now one of our Butchers as well as being Poultry Farmer while I’m out the front serving customers or behind the scenes in the office. We have two young children that are always eager to help whether that’s filling shelves, helping to serve or running around collecting eggs…….we said the emphasis was on family!
